In class 8th NCERT book, in Exercise 6.3 of chapter Square and Square Roots, Students:

  • learn the concept of square root (i.e. the reverse of perfect square)
  • learn to solve a square root using prime factorization method
  • Learn how to turn a given number into a perfect square via multiplication or division.

How much time you should spend on Exercise 6.3?

Now that you know the basic concept of squares, after exercises 6.1 and 6.2, you will be more comfortable, but since exercise 6.3 introduces the new concept of prime factoriisation, we advise you spend at least 1 day on exercise 6.3 and try as many questions as possible even from reference books.
