More About NCERT Class 8 Maths Exercise 9.1

In exercise 9.1, students learn to identify terms and their coefficient  for a given equation. Students also learn to classify the algebraic expressions on the basis of their terms and degrees. Expression with 1 term is called monomial,  expression with 2 terms is called binomial, expression with three terms is called trinomial and when there are more than 3 terms, we simply call them polynomials, at least for this class. Students learn about like and unlike terms and how to add and subtract them.

How much time you should spend on Exercise 9.1?

If you are an 8th grader who doesn't have anyone to guide you or help you out after school, it might take you at least a a few hours to get a good hold of the concepts and questions covered in NCERT Exercise 9.1. We advise you to spend a day and practice as much as you can.
